My seller client, Rita, decided to sell her home in Rancho San Diego where she was an original owner since 1989. Rita did a wonderful job of moving most of her things out of the home so it showed like it was clean and vacant even though she still lived there until close of escrow. We worked through an unusual move by Fannie Mae that questioned the full price appraisal. It was an honor to help Rita with her successful home sale. Find out more at kerrygarnett.com.
It’s been a privilege to represent Doug and his wife on the sale of their home in Serra Mesa. They’ve been neighbors of mine since I moved to Serra Mesa in 2000. They decided to make a big move to be closer to their grandchildren on the east cost. So we met in January and discussed how to prepare the house to get top dollar in this current San Diego market. I spent more than 5 weeks helping the seller manage multiple vendors who updated the exterior and interior paint and ceilings, re-finished the wood floors, updated the light fixtures and hardware, and put in new landscaping. It was well worth it. We received more than 30 offers in less than two weeks most of them above asking price. Now it’s up to the new owners to take good care of this wonderful home.
It was my honor to be the Team In Training coach when Jessica successfully completed the 2010 Los Angeles Marathon. I was so pleased to meet up with her again when she and Phil began searching for a home in early 2012. They decided to make a big change from downtown San Diego condo living to a beautiful home in Carlsbad. They tell me Barkley likes his new home too!
When George and his family had outgrown their home in Chula Vista, they and wanted to find a new home with more space. I showed them a beautiful home in Bonita that was being sold as a short sale. There were some nervous moments waiting for the seller’s lenders to agree to the short sale so it was a thrill and an honor to be able to hand over the keys to George and his wonderful family.
These are my clients, Kris and Susan, whom I first met as a coach for Team In Training. They are both active in all of the TNT sports. It was my honor to help them find their beautiful, recently remodeled home in the Rancho Penasquitos section of San Diego. They can hear the Mount Carmel High School band practices from their back yard and may become fans of the Sundevil sports teams.
After searching for several months it was such a great pleasure to help first-time buyers Chris, Raven & Zephyr find and purchase their new home in Vista, CA. It’s a very unique house built in the 1920s and recently remodeled and expanded. It’s a wonderful home where a baby can grow up and a family can build many happy memories together.
I’m happy I was able to help Jay great home in Rancho Bernardo overlooking a golf course. Jay is a strong runner and coaches triathletes who train with Team In Training in San Diego. Jay is a great guy who allowed me to plug in my electric car at his house and gave me a ride before six in the morning one day when I was running low on battery power.
Melissa found a great, single-family home in Poway where other family members are nearby. Melissa is an active runner and triathlete with whom I coached a recent Team In Training season. She continues to coach other TNTers as well as raise money as a participant in Team In Training events. I’m happy I was able to help Melissa find a great home and contribute a percentage of my real estate commission toward fundraising efforts on behalf of the Leukemia & Lyumphoma Society.
